We collaborate with universities, research institutions, and community partners across the UK to make maternity research more inclusive, ethical, and representative of all women and birthing people.
Each project focuses on improving how maternity care is delivered, experienced, and understood, especially for those from underserved, minoritised, or neurodiverse communities.
Our Community Leaders play a vital role in ensuring these voices are not just included, but respected and valued.
Focus: Supporting Women’s Inclusion and Engagement in the Maternity Digital Care Record: A Co-produced Research and Educational Development Project Investigating access barriers to digital maternity platforms among rural and deprived communities.
Who we’re looking for:
Women or birthing people.
Who have used or struggled to use NHS maternity apps from this community groups:.
Migrant women for whom English may be a second language
Women living in high social deprivation
Women who identify as neurodivergent
Black and minoritised ethnic women
Women from travelling communities
Women in rural areas
Format: Online group discussion and/or in-person (1 hour)
Incentive: £25/hour + travel support.
Affiliate Reward: £50 per verified participant.

Here’s how the affiliate scheme works across all projects:
Referral Fee:
Eigible participant who completes a focus group.
No Cap:
Recruit as many participants as possible (group limits apply).
Payment Timing:
Issued after the participant attends the session.
Exclusions:
No payment if the participant withdraws, doesn’t attend, or is not a genuine referral.
Recruitment Windows:
Announced in advance all leaders notified equally.
Support:
Extra help and resources provided for smaller or newer community organisations.
All affiliate partners must sign the collaboration agreement and NDA before recruitment begin
